Who we are

Bcal Energy is an independent California-based developer of behind-the-meter fuel cell power plants. Contact: info@bcalenergy.com.

What we collect

Server access logs (IP, user agent, request path) via Cloudflare for ~30 days. Email contents and any attachments you send to info@bcalenergy.com. Newsletter signups via MailerLite (email + opt-in timestamp). Payment data is collected and processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers. PFSA project intake forms include site address, utility account information, and a contact name; this is treated as confidential pre-deal diligence.

How we use it

Solely to evaluate site fit, deliver the PFSA report, communicate about your project, and respond to inquiries. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Subprocessors

Cloudflare (hosting + CDN), Stripe (payments), MailerLite (email list). Each has its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data by emailing info@bcalenergy.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of sale of personal information — we do not sell personal information.

Retention

Project diligence files are retained for the life of the agreement plus 7 years for tax and audit purposes. Marketing emails are retained until you unsubscribe.
